Thinking Out Loud

Good Vibrations…

In the year 1905, Albert Einstein proved that when we break matter down into smaller components, we move beyond the material realm and into a realm in which everything is energy. This is the Law of Vibration, a law of nature that states that ‘nothing rests; everything moves; every-thing vibrates.’

Our universe and our planet is made of energy. We are made of energy. Everything that we see, hear, feel & touch is energy. Everything. As we are all different, we each have our own unique vibrational frequency which can vary depending on our emotions, health, feelings, thoughts & moods etc. Most of us have probably never given much thought to our own vibrational frequency before, yet once you begin to understand how it affects your life you will find yourself making a point of being aware of it. To try and simplify what your own vibrational frequency feels like for you, I want you to ask yourself how you feel right now. The better you feel, the higher your frequency. The worse you feel, the lower your frequency. A high vibrational frequency attracts more of the same or what you would relate to as positive, feel good, happy situations in your life while a low vibrational frequency attracts more of the not so nice, negative situations.

I read somewhere that emotions are our biochemical feedback system – they are created to reveal to us, at every moment of the day, what our vibration is. I loved this explanation so took note of it, as I do constantly when something resonates with me. It’s like an inner google maps system to tap into and lead you back to your feel good higher frequency destination. To try and keep it simplified for you, thoughts and feelings like fear, anxiety or grief vibrate at very low frequencies. Whereas feelings of happiness, love or joy vibrate at much higher frequencies. So for example you might be feeling quite low and you want to raise your vibrations to the positive zone and all the good things that come with it, you simply must choose to focus on thoughts and things that make you feel good. Equally, you cannot focus on things that make you feel bad and expect to maintain a high vibration. Obviously, the higher your frequency the healthier you will be. Many of you will be familiar with the saying ‘what you think about you bring about’ – thoughts are in fact an energy so through your thoughts, words and actions you create your vibration, which then begins to manifest your experiences, health and reality.

Hopefully by now you will have a better understanding of how vital your vibrations are to your reality and be more aware of how you can use your thoughts and actions to control them instead of them controlling you – “We are all vibrational beings. You’re like a receiving mechanism that when you set your tuner to the station, you’re going to hear what’s playing. Whatever you are focused upon is the way you set your tuner, and when you focus there for as little as 17 seconds, you activate that vibration within you. Once you activate a vibration within you, Law of Attraction begins responding to that vibration, and you’re off and running – whether it’s something wanted or unwanted.” ~ Abraham

You will also be a bit more aware now too of how the Tibetan Singing Bowls (or indeed any sound tools) work by tuning into your own unique frequency and helping to raise your vibrations, which in turn means a higher state of consciousness and well being. Before I wrap up this piece I would like to just touch on the amazing work of Dr Masuru Emoto, something of which I will share with you more at a future stage – Just as the sound and vibrations are carried through the water in our bodies, Dr Masuru Emoto discovered the power of word vibrations on water. During his research he found that one of the highest frequencies is that of Love and Gratitude.  As you will see from the beautiful image, the result of the word Gratitude taped onto ordinary water and then frozen. There is no denying the crystal is sheer perfection and beauty at it’s best. And interestingly though not surprising, angry words taped onto the water were a cloudy result that would not even form into crystals.

The most common unit of measure for frequency is the Hertz, which is one vibrational cycle per second.  So for example, a frequency of 460 Hz means that there are 460 cycles of vibration occurring every single second. However, Dr Emoto’s work has managed to make the power of Love and Gratitude visible. If you would like to see more of these powerful  images you can visit here

I would like to dedicate this piece to a wonderful, kind natured spirit whom without I would not be able to do what I love, Patricia Parashakti Lohan. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and teachings leading me on my incredible journey of sound
