Dance The Funky Chicken, Don’t Worry & Always Wear Sunscreen…

Usually I fill this space each month with something written by either myself or a guest writer in the hope that by sharing invaluable life experience, stories, passions, fears and dreams that something will resonate enough with readers to inspire them, comfort them or perhaps give them whatever they need at that moment in time. This month I am going to cheat, just a little, by sharing with you a song from 17 years ago…

If you do one thing today, let it be that you sit down, turn this up loud and LISTEN, really listen to the words. I was 23 when I first heard this song but only now at 40 do I understand the full value of the advice dispensed (and not just the bit about sunscreen!). I guarantee you will find something, if not most of it, as invaluable, inspiring and comforting as the words that usually dance across this page.
